The service is provided free of charge and requires no prior registration. It is a safe and secure method closer to your home, to carry banking transactions on a real time basis.

- Deposits Cash to any Union Bank savings accounts ( up to LKR 50,000 per day)

How to make a deposit
- Visit the nearest Union Bank authorized retailer.
- Inform the retailer that you need to make a deposit to Union Bank and do the following:
Step 1: Provide the following information to the agent: Savings Account Number, Deposit amount, Depositor’s contact number, NIC
Step 2: Hand over the cash to the Agent (no cheques)
Step 3: Wait for the SMS confirmation alert
How to make a credit card or a loan payment
Step 1:For Union Bank Credit Card payments provide the Credit Card Repayment Account Number (not the credit card number)
For loan repayments, provide the loan repayment savings Account Number. Amount, Contact Number (Depositor’s Mobile Number) and NIC
Step 2: Handover the cash
Step 3: The selected agent will then connect to Union Bank to process the transaction and Union Bank will then validate the information and complete the transaction on real time basis and send a SMS to the customer’s registered mobile number confirming the receipt of the deposit.
The agent will also send a SMS or issue a receipt to the customer on completion of the transaction.
The following services will not be provided by the agents
- Opening of bank accounts
- Issuance of bank cards and cheques;
- Dealing with loans and/ or financial appraisal
- Encashment of cheques
- Dealing in foreign currency
